REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 23, 1991
CALL TO ORDER The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District met in regular adjourned
session on September 23, 1991, 5:30 p.m., at
the Civic Center, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa.
The meeting was called to order by President
Wahner.
Directors Present: James Wahner, Harry Green,
Nate Reade, James Ferryman
Dick Sherrick
Directors Absent: None
Staff Present: Roy June, Attorney
The meeting was adjourned to executive session to discuss personnel
matters.
Upon reconconvening from the executive session, it was noted that
the following items were discussed.
1. A discussion was held concerning the management options
resulting from the resignation of Bob Brock, District Manager.
2. A discussion was held with Barry C. Newton of Creative
Management Solutions concerning the District's personnel
needs.
The following actions were taken:
1. Attorney June was instructed to draft a letter to Newton
outlining the District's present status and projected and
probable future status as a basis for his proposal to the
District, which would include his proposed fee, his
qualifications and his agreement,.: -;to -meet, a : de,: cd` ine of
November 27, 1991.
2. Attorney June was instructed to request the District Clerk to
set up a meeting with Allan Roeder, City Manager, and the
District Board in order to discuss the City'-s position on a
relationship between the District and the City concerning
recycling_ and franchising of solid waste haulers serving
industrial, commercial and multiple housing waste producers
and its effect on District staffing and personnel.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:30 P.M.
