SPECIAL ASSESSMENT
Mr. Oman informed the Board that new information

rates and for that reason he is recommending

revising the Solid Waste Disposal Special Assess-
ment Rate for the 1986 -87 Fiscal Year to $66.94,

the total amount of the assessment being

$1,337,851.68.
On motion by Director Green, seconded by Director
Johnson, the revised rate of $66.94 per single
family residence was adopted, effective July 1,
1986. Motion carried by the following roll call
vote:

for Fiscal Year 1986 -87, the total amount of the
assessment being $490,932.83. Motion carried by
the following roll call vote:

ABSENT: Directors - None
1986 -87 PRELIMINARY Mr. Oman distributed copies of the 1986 -87
BUDGET VERSION "D" Preliminary Budget Version "D ". He explained
some of the changes from the last version and
said the Final Budget would be presented on
August 21, 1986.
PUBLIC HEARING President Wahner informed the Board that this was
TRASH ASSESSMENT the time and the place fixed, pursuant to the
notice given, for the hearing of protests and
objections, and requests for exemption, to the
proposed assessment for trash and garbage collec-
tion, as set forth in the report filed with the
Secretary /Clerk of the District.
PUBLICATION Ms. Reichle informed the Board that the Notice of
OF NOTICE Public Hearing had been published twice, July 24
and 31, 1986, as required by law, and the affi-
davit of publication is on file in the District
® Office. She also stated no written or verbal
protests had been received.
HEARING CLOSED There being no protests, motion was made by
Director Hanson, seconded by Director Crank, and
carried 5 -0, to close the public hearing.
RESOLUTION Director Hanson made a motion, seconded by
NO. 86 -441 Director Green, that Resolution No. 86 -441, being
a RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING NO PROTESTS
LODGED TO THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR TRASH
COLLECTION AND ADOPTING THE REPORT ON FILE WITH
THE CLERK OF THE DISTRICT, be adopted. Motion
carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Wahner, Crank, Hanson,
Green, Johnson
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - None
PUBLIC HEARING President Wahner informed the Board that this was

THE DISTRICT, be adopted. Motion carried.by the
following roll call vote:

ADJOURNMENT President Wahner declared the meeting adjourned at
