BOARD OF DIRECTORS
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
0 August 6, 1985
Call to Order The meeting was called to order by President
Wahner at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Directors - Wahner, Crank,
Hanson, Green.
Absent: Gallacher.
Officials Present: Bruce Mat.tern, Manager
Roy June, Attorney
Robert Oman, Finance
Director
Florine Reichle, Assistant
Secretary
PUBLIC HEARING President Wahner informed the Board that this
Trash Assessment was the time and the place fixed, pursuant to
the notice given, for the hearing of protests
and objections, and requests for exempti.on,.to
the proposed assessment for trash and garbage
collection, as set forth in the report filed
with the Secretary of the District.
PUBLICATION Ms. Reichle informed the Board that the Notice
OF NOTICE of Public Hearing had been published twice,
July 22 and 29, 1985, as required by law, and
the affidavit of publication is on file in the
District Office. She also stated no written
protests had been received.
HEARING CLOSED
There being.no protests., motion was made by
Director Hanson, seconded by Director Crank,
and unanimously carried, to close the public
hearing.
RESOLUTION
Director Green made a motion, seconded by
NO. 85 -428
Director Hanson, that Resolution.No. 85 -428,
being a RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT, OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
NO PROTESTS LODGED TO THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR
TRASH COLLECTION AND ADOPTING THE REPORT ON FILE
WITH THE CLERK OF THE DISTRICT, be adopted.
Motion carried by the following,roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Wahner, Crank, Hanson,
Green.
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Gallacher
PUBLIC HEARING
President Wahner informed the Board that this
Sewer User Fee
was the time and place fixed, pursuant to the
notice given, for the hearing of protests and
objections, and requests for exemption, to the
proposed Sewer User Fee, as set forth in the
report filed with the Secretary of the District.
PUBLICATION
Ms. Reichle informed the Board that the Notice
OF NOTICE
of Public Hearing had been published twice,
July 22 and 29, 1985 , as required by law, and
that the affidavit of publication is on file
in the Ditrict Office. She also stated no
written protests had been received.
HEARING
There being no protest, Director Hanson made
CLOSED
a motion, seconded by Director Green, and
unanimously carried, to close the public hearing.

Director Hanson made a motion, seconded by

Director Crank, that Resolution No. 85 -429,
being A RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING
NO PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED USER FEE FOR LIQUID
WASTE DISPOSAL AND ADOPTING THE REPORT ON FILE
WITH THE CLERK OF THE DISTRICT, be adopted.
Motion carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Wahner, Crank, Hanson,
Green,
AYES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Gallacher
CLOSED SESSION On motion by Director Hanson, seconded by
Director Green, and unanimously carried, the
Board adjourned to Closed Session at 8 p.m.
RETURN TO The Board returned to the meeting at 8 :30 p.m.
REGULAR SESSION at which time President Wahner announced no
action had been taken on any matter.
ADJOURNMENT President Wahner declared the meeting adjourned
at 8:35 p.m.
