of Costa Mesa Sanitary District held Dec.6th,
1945 at Community Hall, Costa Mesa,California.
Present: Directors TeWinkle, Nelson, Lord, Dodd, Norman,
Attorney Anderson, Collector Wallace, Secretary
Owen.
President TeWinkle presiding.
Following bills on motion by Dodd, seconded by Lord,
ordered paid:
Giles E. Wallace .$350.00

Moved by Lord, seconded by Dodd, that Attorney Anderson
be instructed to prepare contract with Giles E.Wallace covering
a period of one year from January 1st, 1946 to perform collecting
service at the rate of $350.00 per month . Carried.
Letter from Raymond A.James applying for refund of 1944
taxes on Lot 6 Map 24, read and referred to Attorney for advice.
Moved by Lord, seconded by Dodd, that Secretary be
directed to write a letter to Board of Supervisors requesting
aid of that body in negotiations to acquire certain lands for
dump site purposes. Carried.
Moved by Lordd, seconded by Dodd, that a letter be
written to Board of Supervisors supporting the proposal to
employ an Engineer by the County to survey Outfall Sewer
development.
Moved by Nelson, seconded by Dodd, that Attorney Anderson
be paid the sum of $200.00 for legal services since formation
of District and a retainer of $100.00 per ;dear beginning Jan.l,
1946.
