Capital Improve- The Board discussed the Capital Improvement Pro - ment Program gram for the 1981 -82 budget. In particular was Project No. 1112100 -62, Bristol Street Sewer. Although the area served by the Bristol Street. Sewer was annexed to the District in 1958, all of it lies within the Newport Beach sphere of influ- ence. It is evident that the need for increased sewer capacity is being generated by rezoning actions of the County of Orange and the City of Newport Beach. In the 1980 -81 budget, funds were appropriated for construction. Now, because of right of way acquisition costs and increased construction and engineering costs due to the complexity of the project, funds previously budgeted would not be adequate and additional funds would have to be provided for in the 1981 -82 budget if construction were to proceed. a MOTION Motion was made by Director Hutchison, seconded 40 by Director Hanson, to instruct staff to inves- tigate alternatives to undertaking further con- struction of the Bristol Street Sewer.
