MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT 77 FAIR DRIVE
March 18, 1980
Present: Directors - Glockner, Hutchison,
Crank, Wahner and Hanson.
Absent.:
Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager Mattern, Attorney June,
Finance Director Oman, and
Assistant Secretary Reichle.
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District met in Adjourned Regular Session at 7:30 p.m.,
March 18, 1980 in the First Floor Conference Room at
City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California,
having adjourned at the Regular Session on March 13,
1980.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by
President Glockner.
1980 -81 The staff presented the Board with the City Contract
City /District Proposal. -:for Fiscal Year 1980 -81. Finance Director
Contract Oman stated it was acceptable to the City for the
• Contract proposal on a preaudit basis. This would
provide for an adjustment to the contract based on
final operating costs. If the actual costs are higher,
then the District will reimburse the City. If the
actual costs are less than the contract proposal, the
City will reimburse the District. After discussion,
it was moved by Director Wahner and seconded by
Director Hanson that the Board.approve the City's
Contract Proposal in the amount of $1,250,683. The
motion was carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Glockner, Hutchison, Crank,
Wahner and Hanson.
NOES: Directors - None.
ABSENT: Directors - None.
Adjournment Upon motion by Director Crank,, seconded-by Director
Hanson, and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned
at 8:50 p.m.
