Roll Call Present: Directors - Wahner, Crank, Hutchison, Glockner,
Briggs
Absent: Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager Mattern, Asst. Director of
Finance Miller, Attorney June,
Assistant Secretary Geddes
The meeting was called to order at 7:32 p.m.
Minutes of On motion by Director Glockner, seconded by Director
August 9 and Crank, and unanimously carried, the Minutes of August 9
August 16, 1979 and August 16, 1979 were approved as submitted.
Public Hearing Director Glockner made a motion, seconded by Director
Continued Wahner, and unanimously carried, to continue the public
hearing to Thursday, August 30, 1979, at 7:30 p.m.
Budget for Assistant Finance Director Miller presented the Board
Fiscal Year with General Fund - Final Budget and Special Assessment
1979 -80 Rate Calculation for 1979 -80 fiscal year. Board will
take action on this item at the Adjourned Meeting set
for August 30, 1979 at 7:30 p.m.

Director Hutchison made a motion that Resolution No.
79 -344, being A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A TAX TO PAY THE
PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST ON BONDS ISSUED BY THE DISTRICT,
be adopted. This motion was seconded by Director
Glockner, and carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Crank, Wahner, Hutchison, Briggs,
Glockner
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - None

1979, the Assistant Secretary, due to the lack of a
quorum, adjourned the meeting to Thursday, August 23,
1979, first floor conference room, 77 Fair Drive,
Costa Mesa, California.

The meeting of the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District scheduled for Thursday,

23, 1979 at 7:30 p.m. by the Assistant Secretary
due to the lack of a quorum. Said meeting will be
held in the first floor conference room of the City
Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California 92626.
