MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT 77 FAIR DRIVE
August 17, 1976
Present: Directors - Hutchison, Warren, Briggs_, Rima
Absent: Directors - Glockner
Officials Present: Manager Eldridge, Director of Finance
Oman, Attorney June, Engine'er Stevens,
Assistant Secretary Machamer
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District met in adjourned regular session at 7:30 p.m.
August 17, 1976, at the City Hall, 77 Fair Drive,
Costa Mesa, California, having adjourned at the
regular session on August 4, 1976. A copy of the
notice of adjournment was posted and delivered as
required bylaw.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by
President Rima.
Manager Eldridge presented the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District Budget for Fiscal Year 1976 -77. After
discussion, Director Hutchison made a motion that
the Costa Mesa Sanitary District Budget for the
Fiscal Year 1976 to 1977 be approved as follows:
General Fund - #5391 $1,030,865
Sewer Construction Fund - #5411 21,668
No. 7 Trunk Sewer Fund - #5441 444,711
Facilities Revolving Fund - #5451 1,530,702
Total $3,027,946
This motion was seconded by Director Warren, and
carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Hutchison., Warren, Briggs, Rima
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Glockner
Director Warren made a motion that Resolution 76 -297,
being A RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF $33,022.00 FROM THE
FACILITIES REVOLVING FUND TO THE GENERAL FUND OF
THE DISTRICT, be adopted.
This motion was seconded by Director Briggs, and
carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Hutchison, Warren, Briggs, Rima
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Glockner

Resolution Director Warren made a motion that Resolution 76 -298,
No. 76 -298 being A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
Setting Tax COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE TAX RATE PER CENTUM, LEVYING
A TAX UPON ALL THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE COSTA
MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
WHICH IS TAXABLE FOR THE OPERATIONAL RUNNING EXPENSES
OF THE DISTRICT, TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST
ON BONDS ISSUED BY THE DISTRICT, be adopted.
This motion was seconded by Director Hutchison, and
carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Hutchison, Warren, Briggs, Rima
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Glockner
Tustin Mr. Ernst of California Pump and Wells was in attendance
Pump Station at the meeting. Engineer Stevens advised the Board
that all of the equipment has not been received as of
this date, therefore, no requests for payment will be
made at this time.
23rd Street Manager Eldridge advised the Board that there was a •
Pump Station failure at the 23rd Street Pump Station, the cause
of which is not known at this time. It is estimated
that the amount of damage will be in the area of
$2,000 to $3,000. Manager Eldridge has authorized the
repair work to be done due to the urgency of the
situation.
Adjournment Upon motion by Director Warren, seconded by Director
Hutchison, and unanimously carried, the meeting
adjourned at 8:20 p.m.

Sanitary District was held August 4. 1976 , at 7:30 p.m. in the
fourth floor conference room of the Costa 14esa City Hall, 77 Fair
Drive Costa Mesa.
Directors Present: Hutchison, Glockner, Warren, Briggs, Rima
Directors Absent: None
"The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President
Rima."
"Upon motion by Director Briggs, seconded by Director Warren,
and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned at 9:00 p.m.
to Tuesday, August 17, 1976, at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall,
