Reso 2013-837 RESOLUTION NO. 2013-837
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, AUTHORIZING THE
DISPOSITION OF DISTRICT ASSETS.
WHEREAS, California Health and Safety Code Section 6514 et seq. provides that the District
may acquire real and personal property, which in the judgment of the Board is necessary or proper to
the exercise of its powers,
WHEREAS, the Board may dispose of such real or personal property that the Board finds is no
longer required for the purposes of the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District does hereby
RESOLVE and DETERMINE as follows:
SECTION 1: That the District Manager and the Treasurer are authorized to dispose of those
District assets that are designated in "Attachment A".
SECTION 2: That these assets will be disposed of by placing them on consignment with an
Auction Company to obtain the highest value possible as determined by the market.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District at a
regular meeting held on the 31st day of July 2013.
