Absent: Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager Eldridge, Engineer Stevens,
Director of Finance Oman, Assistant
Secretary Machamer
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District met in adjourned regular session at 7:30 p.m.,
March 11, 1976, at the City Hall, 77 Fair Drive,
Costa Mesa, California, having adjourned at the regular
session of March 3, 1976. A copy of the notice of
adjournment was posted and delivered as required by
law.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by
President Rima.
AB 1938 Manager Eldridge reported on a letter he had written
to the Senate Committee on Local Government in opposition
• to Assembly Bill 1938 (Knox) regarding_ mandatory
continuation of solid waste service.
1976 -77 Manager Eldridge summarized the 1976 -77 City Contract
City Contract Proposal as submitted and answered questions on
Proposal various items. After discussion, Director Glockner
made a motion that the City Contract Proposal for the
fiscal year 1976 -77 be approved as submitted in the
amount of $786,965.00. This motion was seconded by
Director Warren, and carried by the following roll ca
vote:
AYES: Directors - Hutchison, Glockner, Warren,
Briggs, Rima
140ES: Directors - None
.ABSENT: Directors - None
District 7 Director Glockner reported that at the last Sanitation
Annexation District Board meeting District 7 voted to approve- aw7W,5
