FIRST AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT AND ENRECOS
FOR VERMICOMPOSTING WORKSHOPS AND PRESENTATIONS AT SCHOOLS
This FIRST AMENDMENT to Agreement between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and ENRECOS
for vermicomposting presentation workshops ("AGREEMENT") is made and entered into this 15th day of
July, 2013, by and between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, hereinafter referred to as DISTRICT, and
ENRECOS, hereinafter referred to as CONSULTANT.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on April 5, 2012, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT entered into an agreement for
vermicom posting presentation workshops("AGREEMENT"); and
WHEREAS,the AGREEMENT expired on April 4,2013;and
WHEREAS, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT desire to extend the AGREEMENT another year
retroactive from April 5, 2013 to June 30, 2014, with a one (1)year extension at the DISTRICT's option.
Option year one (1), if exercised, shall be effective from July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015, as provided
hereinafter;
NOW,THEREFORE,the AGREEMENT is amended as of the date hereof as follows:
1. The term of this AGREEMENT shall commence on April 5, 2013,and shall remain
and continue in effect until tasks described herein are completed and shall terminate•on June
30,2015, unless sooner terminated pursuant to the provisions of the AGREEMENT.
2. The other provisions of the AGREEMENT are reaffirmed as originally stated.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this FIRST AMENDMENT to be executed
this day and year first above written.
