BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT
4248 MARTINGALE WAY, NEWPORT BEACH

Present: Directors - Glockner, Briggs, Warren, Rima,
Porter
Absent: Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager Eldridge, Engineer Stevens,
Attorney June
The Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District met
in special session at 7:00 a.m. on July 11, 1974,
upon the call of the President of the Board to
consider a possible settlement of pending litigation
between DeLeon Construction and the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District regarding the sewer construction
project on Wilson Street between Harbor Boulevard
and Placentia Avenue in Costa Mesa.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 a.m. by
President Porter.
Manager Eldridge presented the latest information and
after discussion, it was moved by Director Briggs,
and seconded by Director Warren, to accept the
Manager and Attorney's recommendation and pay
Mr. Reuben DeLeon the sum of $6,500.00 as settlement
to his claim of approximately $30,000.00. This motion
carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Glockner, Briggs, Warren, Rima,
Porter
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - None
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 a.m.
