Collector presented sample card, suggesting its use. Moved
by Nelson, seconded by Lord, Secretary prepare draft for card
and submit next regular meeting. Carried.
Moved by Lora, seconded by Nelson, Resolution authorizing
signatures,:of President art- Secretary to warrants, be adopted.
Carried:
Moved by Nelson seconded by kerd Norman, that warrant for 500 00
be drawn in favor.J A Wooley to apply on his bill of 1489 62
already approved. Carried
Moved by Norman, seconded by Nelson, following bills be approved
and warrants drawn in payment of same, Julius T Hedrick, 625 00,
McClellan & Sons, 48 00, Carlisle & Co, 82 02, Costa Mesa Globe
Herald, 67 67, Directors TeWinkle, Nelson, Dodd, Lord and Norman,
40 00 each, total 200 00, Secretary F B Owen, 240 00. Carried
Bills approved by Nelson, Lord and Norman, acting as Finance
Committee.

Minutes previous meetings read and approved.
Moved by Lord, seconded by Dodd that compensation of District
Assessor, for year beginning February 1944 be fixed at 240 00
payable monthly at rate of 20 00. Carried.
Moved by Dodd, seconded by Nelson, warrant for 160 00 in
payment Assessor's services to October 1st 1944 be drawn in
favor of Assessor Martha Hostetler. Carried
Moved by Nelson, seconded by Lord bill of Collector Hedrick
for September services, 208 330 less outside fees per contract
5 15, balance 203 18 be paid. Carried.
Moved by Dodd seconded by Lord, bill of Frank Inman, 11 00
for labor at Dump, be allowed and paid. Carried.
