COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT 77 FAIR DRIVE
February 26, 1973
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Directors - Rima, Glockner, Warren

Rima In the absence of President Porter, Director Warren made
Appointed a motion that Director Rima be appointed President pro
President tem, seconded by Director Glockner and unanimously carried.
Pro Tem
The Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District met
in special session at 6:00 p.m. on February 26, 1973,
upon the call of the President of the Board to discuss
Wayne the Digger's request for an extension of time and
• additional payment for the Harbor Boulevard Sewer Project.
The meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by President
pro tem Rima.
Harbor Mr. Kitchens and his representative were present to
Boulevard discuss:
Sewer Project
Wayne the 1. Another interpretation of the previous
Digger, soils report prepared by Maurseth -Howe-
Contractor Lockwood and Associates.
2. Size and location of thrust block.
3. Extension of Time.
Manager Eldridge distributed copies of a soils report
received from Geolabs - California, Inc. regarding the
sewer line construction on Harbor Boulevard which concurred
with that of Maurseth - Howe - Lockwood and Associates.
Manager Eldridge submitted a letter from the Costa Mesa
County Water District indicating there was no kick (thrust)
block located in the sewer line in back of the T.

After discussion, this Board indicated approval of
a 15 -day extension to the Contract and informed Wayne
the Digger to proceed with the work subject to inspec-
tion and approval by the Department of Industrial
Safety.
Upon motion by Director Glockner, seconded by Director
Rima, and unanimously carried, the meeting adjourned
at 7:15 p.m.
