During the report, Director Perry wanted to know what schools did to promote the program. This report illustrates what each school did to promote the program . Staff Recommendation That the Operations Committee recommends to the Board of Directors that the District awards a minimum of $300 to schools that have demonstrated a good faith effort to promote the Telephone Book Recycling Program . Analysis Program invitations were sent to 30 schools but only 22 deci ded to participate. However, out of the 22 that participated, 3 schools (Killybrooke, Wilson and Back Bay High) collect ed less than eight (8) telephone books so they did not qualify for the minimum $300 award . Staff con tacted all 22 schools via e -mail and asked them what they did to help promote the program. Attached is a list illustrating what each school did to promote the program (Attachment A).
