BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT 77 FAIR DRIVE
July 30, 1969
ROLL CALL PRESENT: Directors - Rima, Briggs, Glockner, and
Porter
ABSENT: Directors - .Warren
Officials Present: Manager Madsen, Director of Finance
Oman, Attorney June, Engineer Stevens,
Street and Parkway Director Bogart,
and Assistant Secretary Angel
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District met
in adjourned regular session at 7:30 p.m., July 30, 1969, at
the City Hall, 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa, California, having
adjourned for lack of a quorum at its regular session July 2,
1969; a copy of the Notice of Adjournment was posted and
delivered as required by law.
The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by President
Porter.
• PUBLIC HEARING The President advised the Board of Directors that this was the
Assessment District time and place fixed, pursuant to the notice given, for the
Establishing Trash hearing of protests and objections and requests for exemptions
and Garbage Fees to the proposed assessment for trash and garbage collection, as,
set forth in the report filed with the Secretary of the District.
The Assistant Secretary informed the Board that the notice of
public hearing had been published as required by law, and the
affidavit of publication is on file in her office. The Assistant
Secretary also informed the Board that no written protests had
been received.
The President then asked if there were any interested persons
present desiring to be heard. There being no protests or objec-
tions from the audience, Director Briggs made a motion, seconded
by Director Rima, and unanimously carried, that the hearing be
closed.
Resolution No. Thereupon Director Briggs made a motion, seconded by Director
69 -220 Rime, that Resolution No. 69 -220, being "A RESOLUTION OF THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,. ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, OVER - RULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED ASSESS-
MENT FOR TRASH COLLECTION, MODIFYING THE REPORT ON FILE WITH THE
CLERK AND ADOPTING SAID REPORT AS MODIFIED," be adopted:

NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Warren
Adjournment Upon motion by Director Rima, seconded by Director Glockner,
and.unanimously . c ied, the meeting adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
