Amendment - Burns, Esq., Alan R - 1997-07-21 AMENDMENT TO
LEGAL COUNSEL AGREEMENT
THIS AMENDMENT TO LEGAL COUNSEL AGREEMENT is made and
entered into this 1st day of August, 1997 by and between the COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT, (hereinafter referred to as "DISTRICT") and ALAN
R. BURNS, ESQ , (hereinafter referred to as "BURNS").
RECITALS
WHEREAS, DISTRICT retained BURNS as its General Counsel on January 1, 1995
and
WHEREAS, DISTRICT has reviewed BURNS' performance and found it to be
satisfactory. and
WHEREAS, DISTRICT desires to give BURNS an increase in compensation as a
consequence of this review
NOW THEREFORE, DISTRICT does hereby amend its Legal Counsel Agreement dated
January 2, 1995 as amended and as specifically amended on July 6, 1995 by changing BURNS'
compensation to provide that all services be compensated for at $125 per hour
Except as expressly amended, all the terms and conditions of that Legal Counsel
Agreement dated January 2, 1995 as amended shall remain in effect.
