The meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. by
President Porter.
Upon motion by Director Rime, seconded by Director
Briggs, and unanimously carried, the minutes of July 3,
18, and 25,1968, were approved as posted and
distributed.
The Board advised the staff that since August 10, 1968,
was the final filing date for the Assessment Roll, no
further corrections, or exemptions could be allowed
this year.
No. 109 Attorney June informed the Board that the Local Agency
No. 68- Formation Commission had authorized the District to
annex the property described in Annexation No. 109
without notice or public hearing by the Board, and
without an election, since it is an annexation requested
by 100 per cent of the owners of the real property being
annexed.
Thereupon Director Glockner made a motion that Resolution
No. 68 -89 -A being, "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING AND ORDERING CERTAIN
TERRITORY ANNEXED TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
WITHOUT HEARING OR ELECTION, ESTABLISHING AND ASSIGNING
TAX CODE AREA FOR ANNEXATION NO. 109." be adopted.
This motion was seconded by Director Briggs and carried
by the following roll call vote:

*ouse Count A communication was read by Manager Madsen requesting
an addition of 99 units to the House Count. It was
moved by Director Briggs, seconded by Director Rima,
and unanimously carried, that 99 units be added to
the House Count, making a total of 25,388 as of
August 1, 1968.
Financial Report Upon motion by Director Briggs, seconded by Director
Rima, and unanimously carried, the Financial Report
for the month of July, 1968, was approved as submitted.
Costa Mesa The Director of Finance presented the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District Sanitary District Budget for the Fiscal Year 1968 -
Budget 1968 -1969 1969. After discussion, Director Rima made a motion
that the Costa Mesa Sanitary District Budget for the
Fiscal Year 1968 -1969, in the amount of $605,500.00,
be approved.
