Project 123 - Change Order #1 - Schuler Engineering - 1992-01-30 Costa Mesa Sanitary District CONTRACT CHANGE ORDER NO 1 t' PROJECT 1112100-123 Pump Station Recoating and Maintenance • TO Schuler Engineering Corp Contractor You are hereby directed to make the herein described changes from the plans and specifications, or do the following work not included in the plans and specifications on the contract. Note: This change order is not effective until approved pursuant to adopted District policy Change Requested by Costa Mesa Sanitary District 9 Description of work to be done, estimate of quantities and prices to be paid. Segregate between additional work at contract price, agreed price and force account. Unless otherwise stated, rates for rental of equipment cover only such time as equipment is actually used and no allowance will be made for idle time. Bid Item 4 calls for removing the deteriorated electrical junction boxes in Tustin and Mendoza Pumping Stations and then sealing the conduits to prevent gas from entering the conduits and then entering the electrical enclosure However, due to the power cable arrangement within the conduits there is no way to seal the conduits without a new electrical junction box Therefore, 1 new .electrical junction box is needed for each station The total cost for labor and materials for both boxes is $1,475 00 as shown on the attached letter from Schuler Engineering Net Increase VA Decrease ❑ in Contract $ 1,475.00 4 By reason of this order the time of completion will be adjusted as follows.
