UPON ACCEPTANCE OF INSTRUMENTS OF SERVICE
Costa Mesa Sanitary District has requested and accepted

the following instruments of service prepared by ASL Consulting Engineers (ASL) for
Pipeline Extension into Newport Beach
(Name of Project)
(list) CADD files for portion of pipeline within South
Bristol Street
By accepting the above Costa Mesa Sanitary District agrees that these instruments
of service will be used as reference only without revising or altering them. If plans,
documents, or CADD files are altered intentionally or unintentionally or reused it will
be at Costa Mesa Sanitary District's risk and Costa Mesa Sanitary District agrees, to
the fullest extent permitted by law to defend, indemnify and hold Orange County
Water District and ASL Consulting Engineers harmless from all claims, damages,
liability and expenses including reasonable attorney's fees and costs of defense
arising out of such use of the instruments of service by the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District or by others acting through the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
