Recessed meeting of April 6th 1944, held April 10th 1944
Directors present: TeWinkle Nelson Lord Dodd
Attorney Anderson Secretary Owen
President TeWinkle reported on conference with County
Counsel to the effect that upon completion of 1944 Assessment
Rolls and certification by County Auditor the District would
be in position to apply for an advance from County Funds
against the first half of 1944 District assessment in an
amount equal to 85% of the total amount of taxes represented
by such assessment
Proposed Regulations read and passed to final reading
Secretary reported on amount due.County offices for advances
of election expenses, publication et cetera as given him by
County Auditor and being $457 90, which takes the place of
that item estimated as 200 00 in tentative budget of April 6th
O Assessment plan based on group valuation further discussed.
F Moved by Dodd seconded by Lord meeting adjourn to first
Thursday in May 1944 Carried
Adjourned to 7:30 P M Thursday May 4th 1944
