ACCESS ROAD ALONG NEWPORT BEACH GOLF COURSE
Gentlemen
In 1987 the District constructed subject access road which allows
the District s large vactor trucks to pass through the golf
course to clean two sewer lines which traverse the course
Installed along with the road were drainage improvements that
helped divert water away from the road area
Since the original construction the asphalt road has weathered
and frequent watering of the course has necessitated new asphalt
as well as additional drainage improvements consisting of
replacing sections of the asphalt road with concrete installing
additional area drains and minor regrading
The project must be coordinated with the owner of the golf course
as well as the County of Orange , who is the owner of the
property
It is proposed to complete the design phase of subject project at
the following hourly rates not to exceed $12 000 including the
cost of soils engineering and aerial photogrammetry
Engineer $ 59 00/hr
2 man survey crew $ 150 00/hr
3 man survey crew $ 170 00/hr
Please note that billing will be only for actual time worked
