Regular Meeting of Board of Directors of Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
.� held at Community Hall Costa Mesa California March 2nd 1944.
Meeting called to order by President TeWinkle at 7:30 P M
Directors Present: TeWinkle Nelson Lord Dodd and Norman
Also present: Attorney Anderson and Secretary Owen
Minutes of Organization Meeting February 18th 19440 read
and approved
Secretary reported Resolution then adopted had been published
and posted in accordance with law
Moved by Dodd seconded by Lord that Board of Supervisors
be requested to amend existsing.County Ordinance No 304 to
allow County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors
to grant establishment of .dump ground by a duly constituted
Sanitary District at a place or places now prohibited by
such ordinance. Carried
Attorney Anderson was requested to content County Counsel,
explain nature of desired amendment and solicit aid and cooper-
ation of County Counsel in preparation of same
Secretary instructed to ascertain from A Carlisle & Co cost
of Assessment Sheets binder.
Attorne Anderson reported bill of Engineer J A Wooley aggre-
gating 11866 32 of whi-oh $376 70 accrued prior to 1943 leaving
a current amount to be considered as due and payable of
$1489 62
President, Director Lord and Secretary to confer with County
Assessor relative to-preparation of assessment rolls
Moved by Nelson seconded by Dodd Secretary be instructed to
order 500 letter heads and 500 envelopes suitably printed, from
Costa Mesa Globe Herald
Moved by Dodd seconded by Lord adjourn to next regular meeting
date, April 6th 1944 Carried
