ABSENT:. Directors - None
Officials Present: Manager O'Donnell, Attorney Dungan, Street
Superintendent Bogart, Director Of Tinance Oman, and
Assistant Secretary Angel
The Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District met
in adjourned regular session at 12:00 noon, August 18, 19659
at the City Hall, 695 West 19th Street, Costa Mesa, California,
having adjourned by order of the Board of Directors at its
regular session of August 4, 1965. The Assistant Secretary
informed the Board that a copy of the Notice of Adjournment
was posted and delivered as required by law.
The meeting was called to order at 12:00 noon by President Meyers.
Attorney to Prepare Director Reade made a motion, seconded by Director Nelson, and
Draft of Ordinance unanimously carried, that the Attorney for the District be
Creating New Tax instructed to prepare and submit a draft of an Ordinance creating
Code Area a new tax code area for M -1 zones within the District..
•Resolution No. It was moved by Director Nelson to adopt Resolution No. 65 -167,
65 -167 being "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA 14ESA
Transfer from SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, TRANSFERRING
Sewer Construction A SUM OF MONEY FROM THE SEWER CONSTRUCTION FUND TO THE B 6 I
Fund REDEMPTION FUND FOR TAX CODE AREA "B" FOR THE RETIREMENT OF THE
BOND ISSUE IN THE ORIGINAL SUM OF $760,000.00 DATED OCTOBER 19
1956." This motion was seconded by Director Reade and carried
by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Norman, Porter, Nelson, Reade, and Meyers
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Atone
Resolution No. It was moved by Director Porter, to adopt Resolution No. 65 -168,
65 -168 being "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
Setting Tax SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, FIXING THE TAX
Rate RATE PER CENTUM LEVYING A TAX UPON ALL THE TAXABLE PROPERTY
WITHIN THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, WHICH IS TAXABLE FOR THE OPERATIONAL RUNNING
EXPENSES OF THE DISTRICT, TO PAY THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST
ON BONDS ISSUED BY THE DISTRICT." This motion was seconded by
Director Reade and carried by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Norman, Porter, Nelson, Reade, and Meyers
