EMERSON STREET SEWER RELOCATION
Dear Board of Directors:
As described in the attached excerpt from the yearly CIP report,the project will replace an
undersized common sewer line with an 8 inch sewer main meeting District standards.
The existing line is essentially a sewer lateral acting as a sewer main; the line is undersized for the
amount of residential units it serves plus it is not located within the public utility easement.
As mentioned in the attached Norris-Repke independent engineering review the District might
consider requesting financial contributions from the residences served by the line since they benefit
by the proposed construction.
As described in the CIP it is proposed to complete the design phase engineering at the following
hourly rates, not to exceed$9,500
Engineering $ 63 00/hr
Surveying (2 man crew) 160 00/hr
