1 ADDENDUM
A G R E E M E N T

3 THIS AGP.LEMENT made and entered into this 4th day of March
4 1970 by and between the COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE
5 COUNTY, California hereinafter referred to as DISTRICT and
6 ORCO DISPOSAL SERVICE, INC a corporation hereinafter called
7 "CONTRACTOR
8 W I T N E S S L T H
9 WHEREAS the partie hereto did on the 1st day of June 1964
10 enter into a written agreement providing for tra h collection and
11 disposal within the boundaries of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District-
12 and
13 WHEREAS said agreement was amended with respect to rates-per. -
14 occupancy on July 1 1966 and on April 1 1968 and
15 WHEREAS said contract was extended to March 31, 1975 and
16 WHEREAS Contractor now makes application to the District for
17 further increase in said rates and
18 WHEREAS the District after due consideration has found
19 said increase to be warranted and justified
20 NOW, THEREFORE for and in consideration of the covenants
21 herein contained performed and to be performed the parties
22 hereto agree as follows
23 (1) The District hereby agrees to pay an additional $ 05
24 per occupancy increase over the now existing unit amount
* 25 per occupancy paid to the Contractor as established by said
vi 4 26 contract and its amendements payment to begin April 1 1970
27 (2) Said increase shall be paid concurrently with and not
28 ' separately from co•Tipensations paid under the contract dated
29 July 1 1964 as amended and extended and shall be computed
30 on the same basis as occupancies are computed in the aforesaid
31 contract dated July 1 1964 as amended and extended
32 (3) All other terms and conditions contained in the Agreement

1 of July 1 1964 as amended and extended shall remain in
2 full force and effect and shall be in no way or manner
3 modified amended or changed by this AgreemenL other than as
4 expressly set forth herein
5 (4) It is understood and agreed that this Agreement does
6 not in any way extend the term of the Agreement of July 1
7 1964 as amended and previously extended nor is it meant
8 in any way to be a cancellation of said Agreement Contract-
9 or shall take such teps as are necessary to properly invoice
10 the District pursuant to this contract to print and
11 distribute any neces ary notices to customers and shall
12 provide any additional coverage of this contract necessary
17 to its bonding, liability insurance workmen's compensation
14 or any regulatory body having jurisdiction over the operation
15 ' of Contractor
16 IN WITNESS WHEREOF2 the parties hereto have hereunto set
