The meeting was called to order at 12 :00 o'clock noon by President
Meyers.
Upon motion by Director Hollister, seconded by Director Stephens,
and unanimously carried, the meeting was recessed to 4 :00 p.m.

Absent: Directors - Porter
Officials Present: Assistant Secretary Swartz, Engineer Southworth,
Attorney Dungan, Director of Finance Hartzler,
Street Foreman Heller
The recessed meeting was called to order at 4 :00 p.m. by President
Meyers.
Awarding of Bid
Mr. Horner of Boyle Engineering Company reported that they had

checked all of the bids received, and further reported that the bid

of Berdoco, Inc. for $197,971.00 was the-lowest regular responsible
Sewer
bid received, and recommended that the Board award the contract to
said low bidder.
Director Hollister made a motion to award the contract to terdoco)
Inc., the lowest regular responsible bidder, for $197,971.00, and
to reject all other bids, and that the contract be effective upon
the date that the Irvine Company awards the contract to J. S. arret
for their portion of this project.
This motion was seconded by Director Stephens and unanimously
carried.
Resolution #117
On motion of Director Stephens, seconded by Director Hollister,
Awarding Contract
Resolution No. 117, being "A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING THE CONTRACT TO BERDOCO, INC., AT THE PRICES NAMED IN
ITS BID, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE GISLER STREET RED HILL TRUNK
SEWER," was adopted by the following roll call vote:
AYES: Directors - Norman, Stephens, Hollister and Meyers
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Directors - Porter
