THIS AGREEMENT' executed this day of March, '1956, by.end be
tween the Costa Mesa Sanitary District of Costa Mesa, -California, hereinafter
referred to' as "District" and Saffell & McAdam,• a co-partnership and Jeffer-
son Scoville, as Trustees for the owners of property fronting on East 20th
Street between the center line of "Aliso Avenue, as shown in Tract #2993 and
Irvine Avenue, hereinafter referred to as Trustee,
W I T N E S S E T H
WHEREAS, the District is selling bonds for the installation of-a sewer
line in Annexations-#13, #15 and #17, including the installation of a sewer
line on Aliso Avenue and -Irvine Avenue and continuing southerly on Irvine
Avenue approximately 150.' and
WHEREAS', Trustees desire to install a- sewer line on said"E. 20th Street

between sewer line on Aliso Avenue and Iivine Avenue and Continuing southerly
on said Irvine Avenue for approximately 1504 prior to the time that said
line would tie installed by the District and with the bond prodeeds and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the•Distriet'-and. Trusteee to provide for
reimbursement by the District to the Trustees for the cost of Trustees install-
ing said sewer line,
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises and agreements
herein' contained, parties hereto -agree as follows:-
1. Trustees. hereby agree to install, at,'their. own expense a sewer
line on East 20th Street from the center line of Alisd Avenue to Irvine
Avenue and continuing south on Irvine Avenue for approximately 150!, in accord-
ance with the specifications of the District Engineer
2 In consideration thereof the District hereby agrees to pay to

Trustees the actual cost of the installation of said sewer line or •the cost

for the installation .of the said sewer line 'as shown on the successful bid
accepted by the District for the installation of the sewer system. in An-
nexations #13 #15, and,#17, whichever is less
3 -The District shall reimburse She above amount to Trustees
at the time. money from,the sale c8 bonds is available- and after the contract
is entered. into between the District and the successful bidder' in connection
with Annexations #13, #15 and #17
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have hereunto set their. hands the
day and year first above set forth.
