Minutes of adjourned meeting of Board of Directors
of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District held at 2057 Rear
Newport Avenue Costa Mesa California, Septembe �th
1952. This was an adjourned meeting of`September 20th
1952, at which a quorum was not present, which was for
the purpose of canvassing the vote of Special Election held
September 15th 1952.
Present: Directors Lord, Norman and Nelson.

The certified election returns were presented to the Board by the
Secretary at 5 :30 otclock P M. Upon examination of same and verification
of Report of Election Board,•it appearing that Charles W TeWinkle and
Claire M Nelson had received all the votes cast for the office of
Director for the full four year term, and that Martha B Hostetler had
received all the votes cast for the office of Assessor for the full��o,
year term, it was moved by Director Norman, seconded by Director }��man,
that the Report of the Election Board be accepted and said Charles W
TeWinkle and Claire M Nelson and Martha B Hostetler be declared elected
to the respective offices. Motion carried.

Minutes of Special Meeting of Board of Directors of
the Costa Mesa Sanitary District held at 2057 (Rear)
Newport Avenue, Costa Mesa California, September 26th
1952.
Present: Directors Lord, Norman and Nelson.
Attorney Anderson
Secretary Owen
Meeting called to order by Secretary Owen at 5:00 o'clock P M.
Purpose of meeting, per legal notice duly published, to consider
Pe- tition for Annexation to Costa Mesa Sanitary District, of that
certain area described as Tract 1.26 N P H and other, as described in
said Legal Notice published in Costa Mesa Globe Herald, in accordance with
law, was announced by Secretary.
No interested person appeared to be heard on the Petition.
Whereupon, the Petition having been presented to the Board at this meeting,
it was moved by Director Wm E Lord and seconded by Director H Paul
Norman, that an Order of the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District, accepting the Petition and annexing the area
covered thereby to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, be made. Motion
carried. Copy of said Order is attached to and made a part of these
Minute s.
