Ord 1998-29• ORDINANCE NO. 29 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT EXEMPTING PROPERTY DIRECTLY CONNECTED TO THE COUNTY SANITATION DISTRICTS TRUNK SEWER LINES FROM DISTRICT CHARGES WHERERAS, the District has enacted various charges and exemptions thereto for providing sewer service; and WHEREAS, the District provides no service to a property connected directly to the trunk lines of the County Sanitation Districts of Orange County; and WHEREAS, the Board does hereby desire to adopt an ordinance that specifies that such property should be exempt from this District's charges. NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: • Section 1: That for property within the District that is directly connected to the trunk sewer lines of the County Sanitation Districts of Orange County, California (or successor agency), for which the District provides no services, such property shall be exempt from District charges. Section 2: That if such property is provided services by the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, the property owner shall be liable only for the charges for those services provided. Section 3: This Ordinance shall be published as required by law and shall be in effect one week thereafter. Passed and Adopted this IYA day of May 1998.
