Minutes of Special Meeting of Board of Directors
of Costa Mesa Sanitary District required by law
and fixed by notice published u 12th and 19th,
for the purpose of hearing on Pe ition for annexation
published in Costa Mesa Globe Herald 2.6- th,1949.

Directors present: TeWinkle, Nelson, Dodd and Lord,
Secretary Owen.
Meeting called to order by President TeWinkle at 8 VF.m.
President stated purpose of meeting.
Petition for Annexation Parcel 6A presented and call
for those desiring to be heard issued by President. There
being no response and no one appearing as interested party,
it was moved. by Dodd, seconded by Lord, that Parcel 6A, as
described in Petition be accepted for annexation and that
proper Order issue effecting such acceptance and presentation
to Board of Supervisors. Motion carried and Resolution per
copy attached to and made a part of these Minutes thereby
adopted.

NOTE: Upon adjournment and in informal Session reports were
made by President TeWinkle and Secretary Owen on meeting
of Sanitation Committee of Associated Chambers of Commerce
held at Huntington Beach, Monday August 22nd and general
discussion of situation was had, it being expressed opinion
of those present that no division of County Plan as adopted
and understood at time of Bond election in the several
Sanitation Districts should be had and that original program
should be carried out without further delay and also that
the plans and procedure of Costa Mesa Sanitary District are
being adversely affected by the present lack of agreement
and failure of progress by Sanitation Districts.
