RESOLUTION No. 2006 -727
A RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
BOARD OF DIRECTORS ADOPTING A REVISED APPENDIX TO
THE DISTRICT'S CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act of 1974, adopted by initiative, has
mandated that all local agencies adopt a Conflict of Interest Code for designated
employees requiring disqualifications and disclosure under certain circumstances; and
WHEREAS, the Fair Political Practices Commission adopted a model code
(Regulation 18730) that complies with state law and may be incorporated by reference;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted said code pursuant to Resolution
No. 95 -579; and
WHEREAS, the District is required to conduct a biennial review of said code and
to make such adjustments as are deemed necessary; and
WHEREAS, as a result of that review the Board has determined to revise the
appendix to its Conflict of Interest Code;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the CMSD does hereby adopt the
attached Exhibit "A" as the new appendix to the District's Conflict of interest Code and
does hereby mandate that such persons shall report on all such categories described in
said Appendix.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of .Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District at a regular meeting thereof held on the 14th day of September 2006.
