BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
HELD AT 111 FAST 20TH STREET, COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA
January 19, 1956
Roll Call Present: Directors Meyers, Norman, Hollister and Nelson
Absents Porter
Officials Presents Attorney Dungan, Engineer Southworth
The meeting was called to order by President Meyers at 7:30 P.M.
Re Annexations Attorney Dungan presented and read a letter of transmittal from
13, 15 & 17 O'Melveny & Myers, Special Counsel for the proposed Bond Election
regarding Annexations 13, 15 and 17. The Special Counsel Agreement
with OlMelveny & Myers was read and on motion by Director Hollister,
seconded by Director Nelson, and unanimously carried, the President
and Secretary were authorized to sign said Special Counsel Agreement
in behalf of the Sanitary District.

Election
All. -Resolution and ORDER OF THE GOVERNIZ BOARD OF COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT CALLING A SPECIAL BOND; ELECTION TO BE HELD IN CERTAIN ANNEXED
AREA IN SAID DISTRICT ON TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 21, 19561, was presented and
read. Director Hollister moved that said resolution, as read, be
adopted. The motion was seconded by Director Nelson and passed by
the following roll call voter
AYES: Directors Meyers,
NOES: Directors - None
ABSENT: Director Porter
Norman, Hollister and Nelson
On motion by Director Hollister, seconded by Director Norman, and
unanimously carried, Warrant No. 1533, payable to F. B. Owen, was
ordered to be cancelled, and a new warrant, 1ngthe---8 - berg
issued in the amount of $16.66.
District Audit It was moved by Director Nelson, seconded by Director Norman and
unanimously carried, that the City Manager of the City of Costa Mesa
be authorized to select a competent auditor to audit the books of the
Sanitary .District.
It was moved by Director Hollister, seconded by Director Norman, and unanimously
carried that the County Auditor be requested to place an order for tax
roll paper and required storage binders for use by the Sanitary District
for the Fiscal Year, 1956 -57.
It was moved by Director Hollister, seconded by Director Nelson, and
unanimously carried, that the bill presented by Harry .Ashton in the sum
of $100.00 be paid with the agreement that said payment constitutes full
payment for all services rendered by said Harry Ashton to the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District to date.
On motion by Director Norman, seconded by Director Nelson, and unanimously
