A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT ADOPTING THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors adopted a Board of Directors Handbook that
includes accepted practices and procedures for the effective conduct of District
business, various resolutions and ordinances of policies and procedures on how public
meetings should be conducted; and
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District Board of Directors Procedures
Handbook provides a summary of relevant statutory requirements, regulations, policies
and procedures governing responsibilities of the Board of Directors that serves as a
reference document for the Board of Directors; and
WHEREAS, the Handbook serves as an introduction for future Board Members
unfamiliar with Board of Directors meeting procedures and guide the Board of Directors
in the preparation and conduct of public meetings.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors does hereby RESOLVE as follows:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct
2. That the Handbook attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference is
adopted as the latest version of the Administrative Policies and shall bear the date of
this resolution.
