Meeting called to. ordor by President Meyers at 7430 P.M. and Hearing
on Petition for Annexation No. 28 announced. See separate minutes.
It was moved by Director Hollister, seconded by Mirector Norman, and
unanimou0,r carried, that the minutes of the pre ti.ous meets of July 7
and July 21 be approved and accepted as` mailed.
The following bills. were read and upon motion by Director Nelson, seconded
by Director Hollister, and unanimously carried, ordered paid:

A letter, together with a bill in the amount of S600.00, from Contractor
Kenneth C:. Price, was read and, in accordance with previous Board action,
passed to the City of Costa Mesa for payment,
Mr. Barney Francque and Mr. C. H. McVey appeared before the Board in the
interest of- sever- connection to serve Vista Shopping Center at 19th and
Placentia. It was moved by Director Hollister, seconded by Director Nelson,
and unanimously carried, that Engineer Southworth be instructed to investigate
the feasibility of such installation, and arrange same if practicable upon
payment of fee or fees of X150.00 per unit as the case might be.

Thereupon it Vas moved by Mi.rector- Nelson, seconded by Director Hollister
that Annexation No. 2$_ be accepted.-that order be entered accordingly,
and that Attorney liungan..be instructed to present same to the Board of
Supervisors in the.usual procedure. Motion carried.
It was moved by Director Nelson, seceded by Director Norman that
hearing be closed. Motion carried.
