A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY
DISTRICT CERTIFYING THAT CERTAIN CHARGES ARE DELINQUENT AND UNPAID
FOR 60 DAYS AND REQUESTING THAT THE COUNTY RECORDER FILE THOSE
CHARGES AS A LIEN (PETER BEDFORD 1826 POMONA AVE, COSTA MESA, CA)
WHEREAS, Peter Bedford is the owner of property at 1826 Pomona Ave, Costa Mesa,
California; and
WHEREAS, Peter Bedford was responsible for the sewer spills on the property that were
required to be abated by the District; and
WHEREAS, Peter Bedford refused to pay the charges of the abatement after they were
confirmed, and the same have remained overdue and delinquent for 60 days; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors does hereby FIND and DETERMINE that the unpaid
charges should be placed on the tax roll pursuant to Health and Safety Code Section
5473.11.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board does hereby request the County Recorder to place the
delinquent charges on the tax roll for the following property:
1. Owner: Peter Bedford
2. Property address: 1826 Pomona Ave, Costa Mesa
3. Unpaid charges: $1,381.19
4. That the charges shall accrue interest in accordance with Health and Safety Code
Section 5473.11.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District, this 20th day of December 2021.
