The temporary Solid Waste Ad Hoc Committee was established to discuss solid waste matters within the District. The Committee
Members include Vice President Bob Ooten, Director Mike Scheafer, Citizens Advisory Committee Member Monte Fields, Citizens
Advisory Committee Member Elodie Katz, and District staff.

A. Solid Waste Ad Hoc Committee Meeting
On December 17, 2019, the District released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Communications Support and Strategy. Attached is
the Request for Proposals and the Bid Register for proposals submitted by the January 17, 2020 due date.
The Committee will receive presentations from the firms that submitted the three top-rated proposals for communications support
and strategy services. Attached are the three top-rated proposals. After the presentations, the Committee will have an opportunity to
ask questions, discuss the proposals, and formulate a recommendation to the Board of Directors.
