SANITARY DISTRICT BOARD
February 25th, 1955
A special. meeting was called for 1:30 p.m. by President A. H.
Meyer at the office of Mayor Claire Nelson's store on Newport
Boulevard.
Present were Directors Meyer, Nelson, Allen and Norman, togeth-
er with Attorney Don Dungan and Engineer Don Southworth.
After examination of the plans and specifications for the sewer
installation on the West side of the sanitary district were
examined, it was moved by Allen and seconded by Nelson as
follows:
The-plans and specifications and conditions, subject
to final approval by the engineer, were accepted by
the District.
The motion was passed by unanimous vote.
A resolution adopting wage scale for the West side
project was adopted in a role call vote as follows:
Norman, Aye; Meyer, Aye; Nelson, Aye and Allen, Aye.
Allen moved and Norman seconded a motion to ratify
action of secretary in publishing invitations to
bids and the wage scale.
The motion passed unanimously.
Nelson moved that Al Hollister be named to membership
on the Board of Directors to fill the unexpired term
of Charles W. TeWinkle. Norman seconded the motion
and it was passed unanimously.
