A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT, COUNTY OF ORANGE, CALIFORNIA ORDERING
TERRITORY DESIGNATED AS ANNEXATION NO. 250 ANNEXED TO THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 57000 et M. the Local
Agency Formation Commission of the County of Orange adopted Resolution No. 97 -11A
on January 14, 1998, making determinations and approving the proposed annexation to
the Costa Mesa Sanitary District of territory described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and
by this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of annexation as approved by the Local
Agency Formation Commission are specified in the above -named resolution and are
incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, the regular County Assessment Roll is utilized by this District; and
WHEREAS, the affected territory will not be taxed for existing general bonded
indebtedness of this District; and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission has authorized this Board
to approve this annexation without notice and hearing and without an election.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District does hereby ORDER the territory described in Exhibit "A"
annexed and directs the Clerk of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District to transmit a certified
copy of this Resolution with applicable fees required by Section 54902.5 of the
Government Code to the Executive Officer of the Local Agency Formation Commission
of Orange County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11`a day of June 1998.
