RESOLUTION NO. 94 -548
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANI
TARY DISTRICT AMENDING RESOLUTION 78 -321, BEING A RESOLUTION
ADOPTING A CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE APPLICABLE TO MEMBERS OF
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS PURSUANT TO THE POLITICAL REFORM ACT OF
1974.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: That
WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirement of law, Conflict of Interest Code was
adopted by the Costa Mesa Sanitary District on the 7th day of June, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the said Resolution was approved by the Board of Supervisors on
August 29, 1978; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District desires
to make certain amendments to parties included as being required to comply with the
Conflict of Interest Code of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1: That Section 3: DISCLOSURE (a) shall be amended to read as
follows:
"(a) Members of the Board of Directors, District consultants, District
Manager /Engineer, District Assistant Manager /Clerk, Attorney for the
District and District Staff members shall file their Statement of Finan-
cial Interest with the Secretary of the Board of Directors of the Dis-
trict who shall retain said filings in original form as permanent records
of the District. Staff members employed by the City of Costa Mesa doing
part -time or support work for the District are covered by the City of
Costa Mesa Conflict of Interest Code and that Code is re- adopted by the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District by this Resolution as the Conflict of In-
terest Code of the District -for those employees."
Section 2: Except as previously amended, no other aspects of Resolution 78-
321 are amended or changed.
Section 3: The Clerk of the District is directed to forward a certified
copy of this Resolution to the Orange County Board of Supervisors requesting their
approval.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
