A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT REJECTING THE BID FROM BEST CONTRACTING SERVICE
FOR ROOF REPAIRS AT CMSD HEADQUARTERS
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District (CMSD) budgeted funds to perform
roof repairs at Headquarters; and
WHEREAS, on December 27, 2017 bids were open for the roof repair project at
CMSD Headquarters; and
WHEREAS, staff has determined the bid from Best Contracting Service is
nonresponsive because the company did not include all the roofing materials specified
in the scope of work; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined it is in the best interest of the
District to reject Best Contracting Service's bid that was submitted and received for the
roof repair project at CMSD Headquarters.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors does hereby Resolve and Determine
as follows:
The Board of Directors does hereby reject Best Contracting Service's bid that
was submitted and received relating to the roof repair project at CMSD
Headquarters.
PASSED and ADOPTED on this 25th day of January 2018.
