RESOLUTION NO. COL5M
A RESOLUTION OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
AUTHORIZING THE CITY TREASURER TO INVEST DISTRICT
MONIES WITH THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TREASURER.
THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 53684 was added to the California Government Code
allowing local agencies to deposit excess funds into the County Treasury for purposes of
investment by the Orange County Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, the District Board does hereby find that the deposit and withdrawal of money
with the County Treasurer in accordance with the provisions of Section 53684 of the Government
Code for the purpose of investment as stated therein are in the best interests of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Costa Mesa Sanitary District Board does
hereby authorize the deposit and withdrawal of District monies with the County Treasurer in the
County of Orange in accordance with the provisions of Section 53684 of the Government Code
for the purpose of investment as stated therein.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the following Costa Mesa Sanitary District officer and
additionally named persons shall be authorized to order the deposit or withdrawal of monies in
the County Treasury.
