A RESOLUTION OF APPLICATION BY
THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
REQUESTING THE LOCAL AGENCY
FORMATION COMMISSION TO TAKE
PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF TERRITORY, BEING ANNEXATION
NO. 238
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of the Costa.Mesa
Sanitary District, that
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District desires to
initiate proceedings pursuant to the Cortese -Knox Local
Government Reorganization Act of 1985, Division 3, commen-
cing with Section 56000 of the California Government Code,
for the annexation of territory; and
WHEREAS, the territory proposed to be annexed is
uninhabited, and a description of the boundaries of the
territory is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and by
this reference incorporated herein; and
WHEREAS, it is desired to provide that the proposed
annexation be subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. Property owner to conform to all Costa Mesa
Sanitary District Ordinances, Policies, Rules and
Regulations.
2. Connection to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
sewer system to meet all District standards.
3. Residential trash collection to meet all Costa
Mesa Sanitary District Ordinances and Policies.
4. Applicable fees for sewer service and residential
trash collection shall apply, and
WHEREAS, the reasons for this proposed annexation are
as follows:
Annexation necessary to provide liquid waste disposal
and trash collection for users within the territory to
be annexed.
NOW THEREFORE, this Resolution of Application is hereby
adopted and approved by the Board of Directors of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District, and the Local Agency Formation
Commission of Orange County is hereby requested to take
proceedings for the annexation of territory as described in
Exhibit "A ", according to the terms and conditions stated
above and in the manner provided by the Cortese -Knox Local
Government Reorganization Act of 1985.

Sanitary District at a regular meeting thereof held on the 11th day
of April, 1991.

ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT
ENGINEER'S NO. 238
Lots 1 -4 of Tract No. 11033 and portions of the adjoining streets
in the City of Costa Mesa, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a map of said Tract recorded in Book 488, pages 43 -44
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, described as
follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing boundary of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District, said point being the southerly corner of
Engineer's No. 178 Annexation to said District, said point also
being the center line intersection of Bristol Street and Red Hill
Avenue; thence along said existing boundary as described in said
Engineer's No. 178 N40038'32 "E 260.27 feet; thence departing said
existing boundary along the northwesterly prolongation of the
northeasterly line of said Tract No. 11033 and along said
northeasterly line 537013'09 "E 621.33 feet to a point on a non -
tangent curve concave northeasterly, having a radius of 747.44
feet, a radial to said curve bears S17036'13 "W; thence
northwesterly 300.42 feet along said curve and said Tract
boundary through a central angle of 23001'44" to an angle point
in said Tract boundary; thence departing said Tract boundary
540037'57 "W 70.00 feet to a point on the center line of Bristol
Street, said point also being on the northeasterly line of
Engineer's No. 19 Annexation to said District; thence along said
center line and along said existing boundary N49022'03 "W 314.85
feet to the point of beginning.
The above described parcel of land contains 2.1 acres.
