SECOND AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT AND ORANGE COUNTY SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS
SECOND AMENDMENT to Agreement between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and Orange
County Superintendent of Schools for educational outreach ("AGREEMENT") is made and entered into
this 1st day of July, 2017, by and between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District, hereinafter referred to as
DISTRICT,and Orange County Superintendent of Schools, hereinafter referred to as CONSULTANT.
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, on July 1, 2015, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT entered into AGREEMENT for the
Project Zero Waste lunch education programs for Costa Mesa K-6th grade students and teachers; and
WHEREAS,the Agreement expired on June 30, 2016 and the First Amendment to the Agreement
was signed on July 1,2016;and
WHEREAS, the First Amendment expires on June 30, 2017 and the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT
desire to extend the Agreement from July 1, 2017 to June 30, 2018,as provided hereinafter.
NOW,THEREFORE,the Agreement is amended as of the date hereof as follows:
1. The term in this Agreement is extended to, and shall remain and continue in
effect until the tasks described herein are completed and shall terminate on
June 30, 2018, unless sooner terminated pursuant to the provisions of the
AGREEMENT.
2. The other provisions of the AGREEMENT are reaffirmed as originally stated.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this Second Amendment to be executed
this day and year first above written.

Should any of the above coverages for the Covered Party be changed or withdrawn prior
to the expiration date issued above, ASCIP will mail 30 days written notice to the
Certificate Holder,but failure to mail such notice shall impose no obligation or liability of

The coverage provided to the Covered Party is hereby extended by this endorsement to the Additional Covered Party named above
in accordance with the provisions contained in the Memorandum of Coverage(MOC). The coverage extended hereby applies only
with respect to liability arising out of activities in the Description of Operations,Vehicle,or Property noted above.It is intended by
ASCIP in issuing this endorsement to defend and/or indemnify the Additional Covered Party only if the District is solely negligent.
In issuing this endorsement,ASCIP intends and agrees to extend coverage pursuant to the terms and conditions of the MOC to the
Additional Covered Party named above only to the extent that the Additional Covered Party faces liability arising out of claims,
demands,or lawsuits claiming money damages on account of bodily injury or property damage as defined and limited in the ASCIP
MOC. The limits of liability extended to the Additional Covered Party listed above is$1,000,000 per occurrence for liability. Such
insurance as afforded by this policy shall be primary,and any insurance carried by the Additional Covered Party named above shall
be in excess and non-contributory.
