A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA
MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA,
COMMING ELVIN HUTCHISON, DIRECTOR, COSTA MESA
SANITARY DISTRICT.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, DO HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: .
WHEREAS, Elvin Hutchison, aka Hutch, has served on the Board of Directors of
the Costa Mesa Sanitary District for the past eight years, and as the Secretary of
the Board since December 13, 1979; and
WHEREAS, Hutch, between March, 1978 and now, has represented the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District by serving on Orange County Sanitation Districts' Boards 1, 6, and
7, and has never missed a Costa Mesa Sanitary District Board Meeting since he was
elected on November 4, 1975; and
WHEREAS, during his tern of office, Hutch has contributed a great deal of time
and effort toward the improvement of the Sanitary District, and his commitment to
serving the best interests of the community as a Sanitary District Board Member has
resulted in high quality service to the public at reasonable cost to taxpayers of
the District. Hutch's character, warmth and honesty will be missed greatly by his
fellow Board Members and Staff of the District;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa
Sanitary District expresses appreciation to Hutch for service to the District; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that an original of this Resolution be made a part of
the perpetual records of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.

I, Florine T. Reichle, Assistant Secretary of the Board of Directors of the
Costa Mesa Sanitary District of Orange County, California, DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the
foregoing Resolution, being Resolution No. 83 -401, was duly passed, approved and
adopted by said Board, approved and signed by the President, Vice President, and
.Directors of said Board, and attested by the Assistant Secretary of said Board, all
at a Regular Meeting of said Board held on the 10th day of November, 1983, and that
the same was passed and adopted by the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
