RESOLUTION NO. P-372-
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ASSESSMENT FOR TRASH COLLECTION AND ADOPTING THE
REPORT ON FILE WITH THE CLERK OF THE DISTRICT.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, an ordinance providing for the collection of charges
of general taxes pursuant to Sec. 5473 of the Health and Safety
Code was passed and adopted on the 5th day of June, 1968, at a
regular meeting of said Board; and
WHEREAS, thereafter a public hearing was set for the 4th
day of August, 1983 to be heard in the first floor conference
room of the Costa Mesa City Hall at 77 Fair Drive, Costa Mesa,
California, at the hour of 7:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has heretofore caused notice of said
hearing to be published in a newspaper of general circulation
within the District, pursuant to Sec. 6066 of the Government Code;
and
WHEREAS, the Board has found and determined that assessor's
parcels are being considered in connection with this hearing; and
Tr]HEREAS, the Board finds and declares that no written
objections were filed and oral objections expressed at the time
of the hearing were insufficient to constitute the owners of a
majority of the separate parcels of property described in the
report as required by Sec. 5473.2, Health and Safety Code; and
WHEREAS, it is in order to overrule all protests presented
at the time and place of said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that oral.protests lodged
at the time of said hearing be and are hereby overruled.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that no modifications are necessary
in said report.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the computer roll presented
as the assessment roll is hereby adopted.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Clerk be instructed to file
a copy of.the report and this Resolution with the County Auditor
prior to the 31st day of August, 1983.
