A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, MAKING APPLICATION TO THE LOCAL
AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION OF ORANGE COUNTY,
CALIFORNIA, FOR THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY
TO THE DISTRICT, BEING ANNEXATION ND. 209
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT, ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District,
Orange County, California, desires to initiate proceedings for the annexa-
tion of the hereinafter described territory to said District;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District of Orange County, California, does hereby resolve, determine
and order as follows:
1. That this application is being filed pursuant to the provisions
of Division 1 of Title 6 of the Government Code of the State of California
for the purpose of proposing the annexation of below described property
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District.
2. That the territory proposed to be annexed contains 35.50 acres
and is contiguous to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District and the territory
proposed to be included in and annexed to said Sanitary District is
specifically described in Exhibit "A" which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof, consisting of one typewritten sheets and a map.
3. That a map showing said boundaries together with a copy of the
above legal description has heretofore been filed with the Orange County
Surveyor and with the Commission and has been found to be definite and
certain by the Orange County Surveyor. Said map is hereby referred to
and by reference made a part hereof to the same force and effect as.is
set out herein or attached hereto.
4. That the territory proposed to be annexed is uninhabited. -
5. That the reason for the proposed annexation is to obtain and
provide sewer service for the territory proposed to be annexed.
6. That the territory to be annexed is entirely located within
Orange County, California.
7. That the names of all the affected districts are as follows:
Orange County Sanitation District No. 7
Orange County Flom Control District
Harbor District
Mosquito Abatement District
County Library District
Metropolitan Water District
Santa Ana School District
8. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District
respectfully requests the Local Agency Formation Commission of Orange
County, California, to institute proceedings for the annexation of the
above described territory to said District.
9. That it is further requested that the said Local Agency Forma-
tion Commission order pursuant to the provisions of Section 56261 of
the Government Code of California that this annexation be approved with-
out notice and hearing by the Commission and approve and authorize the
Board of Directors of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District to annex such
territory without notice and hearing by the Board of Directors and
without election.
10. That attached hereto is evidence of consent and request directed
to the Costa Mesa Sanitary District signed by all of the owners of the
land which is in such territory proposed to be annexed.
11. That the owners who signed said attached consent and request
are hereby found to be the owners of 100 percent of the land described
above.
12. That the proposed terms and conditions to which the proposed
annexation is desired to be subject are described as follows:
That all annexation fees be paid to the District prior to this
annexation becoming effective.

approved and signed by the President of said Board, and
attested by the Secretary of said Board, all at a
Regular Meeting of the said Board held on the 10th day
of March , 19 83 , and that the same was
passed and adopted by the following roll call vote, to wit:

Hanson, Green.

ANNEXATION TO THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT - ENGINEER'S NO. 209
That portion of Lot A, of the Banning Tract in the City of Costa
Mesa, County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map of
said tract filed in the case of Hancock Banning and others vs.
Mary H. Banning for partition and being Action No. 6385, in the
Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the
County of Los Angeles, described,as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the Costa
Mesa Sanitary District as described in Engineer's No. 177
Annexation to said District, said point being at the southeasterll
corner of said Engineer's No. 177 Annexation; thence departing
said boundary North 890 27' 05" East 642.66 feet along the
northerly line of Tract No. 7989 „ recorded in Book 323, pages
11 -16, of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County',
California, to the northeasterly corner of said Tract; thence
South 000 01' 43" East 837.88 feet along the easterly boundary
of said Tract; thence North 890 59' 57" East 250.14 feet along
a line established in Book 12187, page 1664, of Official Records,
records of said Orange County,, to an angle point in the existing
boundary of the Costa Mesa Sanitary District as described in
Engineer's No. 9 Annexation to said District; thence along said
existing boundary as described in Engineer's Nos. 9,21, & 177
Annexations to said District through its various courses in a
general easterly, southerly, easterly, northerly, northeasterly,
northwesterly, southwesterly, northeasterly, westerly,northwester-
ly, westerly, and southerly direction to the point of beginning.
11 The above described parcel of land contains'35.50 acres of land.
Attached and made a part of is a map designated EXHIBIT "B ".
