Meeting called to order at 9:29 A.M.
A. OPENING ITEMS
Procedural: 1. Call to Order
President Scheafer called the meeting to order at 9:29 A.M.
Procedural: 2. Public Comments
President Scheafer opened public comments. Seeing no one present, President
Scheafer closed public comments.
B. ADJOURN TO CLOSED SESSION
President Scheafer noted that Assistant Secretary Ooten was not present for the
meeting.

President Scheafer adjourned the meeting to closed session at 9:32 A.M. to
confer with the following:
1. Real Property Negotiators (Gov Code §54956.8) regarding the property at
2252 Fairview Road, Costa Mesa. The agency negotiator was Scott
Carroll and the other negotiating party was Mike Johnson.
2. Legal Counsel regarding anticipated initiation of litigation (Gov Code
54956.9(d)(4)) (Number of potential cases: 1).
3. Legal Counsel regarding pending litigation (Gov Code §54956.9(d)(1).
President Scheafer reconvened the meeting to open session at 10:21 A.M. He
noted that there was no reportable action for Items 1 and 3 and that the Board of
Directors gave authority to District Counsel, Alan Burns, to proceed with
anticipated litigation under Item 2.
C. CLOSING ITEMS
Procedural: 3. Adjournment
President Scheafer noted that there were no additional director comments and
adjourned the meeting at 10:22 A.M.
