A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT OF ORANGE
COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, OVERRULING PROTESTS TO
THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR TRASH COLLECTION,
MODIFYING THE REPORT ON FILE WITH THE CLERK
AND ADOPTING SAID REPORT AS MODIFIED.
THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE COSTA MESA SANITARY DISTRICT,
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the Costa Mesa Sanitary District finds and de-
clares an Ordinance providing for the collection of charges of
general taxes pursuant to §5473 of the Health and Safety Code
was passed and adopted on the 5th day of June, 1968, at a regular
meeting of said Board; and
WHEREAS, thereafter a hearing was set for the 3rd day of
August, 1977 and continued to August 8, 1977 to be heard in the
First Floor Conference Room of the Costa Mesa City Hall at 77
Fair,Drive, Costa Mesa, California, in each instance at the hour
of 7:30 P.M.; and
WHEREAS, the Clerk has caused notice of said hearings to
be published in a newspaper of general circulation within the
District, pursuant to §6066 of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the Board has found and determined that assessor's
parcels are being considered in connection with this hearing; and '
WHEREAS, the Board finds and declares that written ob-
jections and those parties objecting in person do not constitute
the owners of a majority of the separate parcels of property
described in the report; and
WHEREAS, after hearing no objections pursuant to §5473.2
of the Health and Safety Code; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that no protests having
been lodged either in person or in writing at the time of the
public hearing, no action to overrule was necessary.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the modifications, if any,
in said report are hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the report as, and if
modified, revised and changed is hereby adopted.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, that the Clerk be instructed to
file a copy of the report with the County Auditor prior to the
10th day of August, 1977.
