AGREEMENT FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES
290 PAULARINO AVENUE
Trendzitions, Inc.
This FIRST AMENDMENT to Agreement for project management services is
made into this:Ntrxlay of November, 2016, by and between the Costa Mesa Sanitary
District, a sanitary district ("DISTRICT"), and Trendzitions, Inc., a California Corporation
("CONSULTANT").
Recitals
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2016 the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT entered into an
agreement to provide construction management services, technology and product
consulting, procurement services and facility relocation management services at 290
Paularino Avenue that will serve as DISTRICT headquarters; and
WHEREAS, the terms of the Agreement provided that it was not to exceed
$42,592.50 for services rendered by CONSULTANT unless by amendment to this
contract or change order; and
WHEREAS, additional hours from CONSULTANT were required for construction
management services due to thirty change orders that were required to complete the
improvements at 290 Paularino Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the DISTRICT and CONSULTANT now desire to amend the
Agreement to increase CONSULTANT's compensation for said services.
NOW, THEREFORE the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Pursuant to Section 4 of the Agreement the General Manager has
approved a change order covering extra work for construction management services
and does hereby desire to memorialize that the compensation provided for in the
Agreement has been increased by the sum of$3,500 to cover that work.
2. The term of this First Amendment shall become effective upon its
adoption.
3. Except as specifically amended by the terms of this First Amendment, all
provisions of the original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
